       I grew up in the great state of Ohio. Starting with high school in Lordstown,  I knew early on art was the path to my future, and was prepared to take the journey one step at a time.

 

      I  made my first step after graduation and moved to California to start College, but a year later I knew home was where my heart was and came back to Ohio.

       I took the next step and began studying fine arts at CCAD in Columbus Ohio and received my degree in Art Education at Kent State University.

 

      With each step forward I found myself passing the gift of art on to others through teaching.  I spent the first 7 years of my teaching career in Youngstown, Ohio. In August of 2012 I made my way to Windham High School and have had an amazing time creating an art program my students can be proud of.

 

       Throughout my lifetime personal creativity has always been important. My artwork reflects many feelings, experiences, and inner thoughts. I continue to add steps to my adventure everyday, practicing art regularly and like my students constantly aiming to do better with every brushstroke.

 

       As I have moved down the path I have found myself exploring and mastering different creative areas. From graphic design and shirt making to photography, art festivals, and mural making, Life continues to be an artistic adventure, and I continue to appreciate and enjoy every step.
